Celtic Music For Weddings & Events

Irish and Scottish tunes make great wedding ceremony options! Whether they're traditional or recently written to sound traditional, there are countless waltzes, airs, slow jigs, and other slower tunes that make great processionals and bridal marches. Faster paced reels and jigs make for joyful recessionals.

Traditional songs tend to need a little bit of adaptation, as there aren't nearly enough love songs that end happily in Irish or British traditional music. But that's no trouble - take out the "love grows old and waxes cold" line from a song like "The Water Is Wide" and it becomes a beautiful ceremony song. There are also many recently written trad-style songs that go well alongside traditional songs, and some of those are included below.

Some songs and tunes are available with bouzouki accompaniment - let me know if you want me to play both instruments!
