“From start to finish Lindsay was incredibly professional, kind, flexible and helpful! She even helped give me recommendations for another friend who was looking for musical services for an unrelated event. When the day of the wedding came, she truly helped make the whole day go beautifully and smoothly. Her singing and guitar playing is outstanding and she is very friendly and professional! She was a pleasure to work with and so talented! I will recommend her time and time again!”

“We are so happy we found Lindsay! One of my favorite parts of planning was picking out our songs while listening to her SoundCloud. I originally found her to surprise my husband with Irish folk music b it that was just the start of her talent. Lindsay played during our ceremony was such a perfect addition. She kept our guests entertained and happy while everyone sat, played so beautifully during the procession and recession, and even played light instrumental music during “downtime” of our ceremony when no one was speaking. Her and Jordan then played at cocktail hour and were such a hit! All our guests loved their music and they created such a unique and positive atmosphere. Could not recommend more highly! Working with Lindsay was a pleasure during a sometimes stressful time!”

“For our outdoor beach wedding on the Cape, we knew we wanted music that would be simple and beautiful, and decided a solo singer with acoustic guitar would best fit the setting and atmosphere we wanted. We went with Lindsay based on her great reviews and could not have been happier with the experience - not only is she an amazing performer with a beautiful voice, she is a consummate professional who is organized, responsive, and attentive to all the details that go into making a wedding a success!

“We really appreciated her broad song list repertoire, that she had her own A/V equipment and setup options (she ended up bringing battery-powered speakers and two wireless mics for the outdoor beach ceremony where electrical outlets weren't available, which also meant amplifying the officiant / grooms was taken care of), that she took special requests and learned a song my mother-in-law wanted for the ceremony, and that was also willing to perform some light emceeing / DJ duties during the reception to help move things along. Best of all, she went the extra mile and worked with me beforehand on providing accompaniment so I could serenade my husband as a surprise. The day of the wedding, she arrived early to make sure everything was set up properly, and we never had to worry about whether she knew her cues or where she had to be next, and things went off without a hitch!

“Several of our guests came up to us afterward to comment on how beautiful the music was during the ceremony and reception, and how calm and peaceful they felt hearing Lindsay's wonderful guitar-playing and singing on the beach. I can 't recommend working with her highly enough and am so grateful she was available to be part of our special day!”

“Lindsay Straw is a very accomplished musician with expertise in Celtic, Folk and Classical Music. Her ability to navigate both Guitar and Irish Bouzouki and sing is a testament to her vast knowledge of Music and Instrumentation. Very kind and poised, she is very pleasant in addition to being so talented. I officiated a wedding last weekend and was happy to see Lindsay Staw again. Surpirse. Her music is very beautiful and completely different from the first time I met her at a wedding where I was the Justice of the Peace. Lindsay is very talented. She is knowledgable about all types of music. You will enhance your wonderful wedding if Lindsay is your musician.”
