Every fan of Planxty and Andy Irvine has to learn "As I Roved Out" at some point, right? They don't get much more bitterly beautiful than this traditional ballad. Here’s my arrangement, very similar in chord progression to the Planxty version or Kate Rusby’s, with a little bVII thrown in every now and then.
